Blue Angelfish

Spotted Eagle Ray

I just saw one of these guys when I was swimming- about 3.5 feet across.  There are some interesting animals out there, right off the boatyard.  A bit of nice coral as well.

Green Moray

Sea Hare (a mollusk, not a vegetable)

Lorenzo's making so much noise and dust around here that I fled into town and volunteered my services.  There's an organization here called Reef Relief, and they generously offered me space to spend the day, chatting up tourists, watching movies and reading about coral reefs- bliss!

Chris and Galia go out for lunch

It's such fun having children- wish we'd thought of it sooner!  We went to restaurants, and cooked.  Though it was sort of cold and windy for here, we went to the beach to investigate the new snorkel trail.  And yesterday we took a charter trip out to the reef.  Saw lots of corals and fish- spotty, though, not a continuous show.  C&G did lots of exploring on their own- pursuing their obsession with Key Lime Pie, and checking out the night life.  This morning they left to go home, with a detour planned through the Miami galleries.

A new shade of blue is going on now- Tim and Lorenzo are hard at work.  We get to do the boat name over again, too, because you can't save decals.  What port name should we use?  San Francisco seems the logical choice, although the idea of docking this boat in SF is pretty far-fetched.  Maybe we'll just make something up.
