It's fun being tourists!  This week we're staying with Bob and Barbara in this lovely cottage, in walking distance to all the attractions of Key West.   They rented a car, so we can visit the cats several times a day.  Though we do miss the access to heavy equipment and welding supplies, we'll get back there soon enough.

This is one of the few photos I took in SF that's even in focus-  surrounded there by competent photographers, too.  We had a wonderful visit- saw lots of friends, and It was all great.  We got back yesterday morning to tropical heat- the ocean is now like bath water.

So far we have managed to find several friends, often force-feeding them dim sum or other ethnic foods not provided in the south.  The rain has been helpful; nobody's straying too far from home.  We're still looking for Dan and Leslie, Lynnette, and Louise.

This boat was dropped next to us yesterday.  The story is that they pulled into the boatslip, unannounced- whereupon everyone on board disappeared.  Despite the Florida registration sticker, they came from Cuba.

Stash the drugs,  hide the children,  sandbag the front door!

We're coming to San Francisco March 17 to 27 and we will find you.

Lorenzo and Tim raised the fins this morning, putting the final touch on the stabilizers.  This is the culmination of several weeks of work, and they want all due acknowledgement.  They do seem to work nicely, at least on land.
