Paula's new site

Paula and Ronnie told us what colors to use inside our SF house- no small feat- as everyone in my family understands, we have to TRY OUT ALL THE COLORS FIRST.  This is their ingenious business model.  They have already visited the Benjamin Moore store and painted out big samples of every plausible color.  The few that actually work are presented to the client, and held up against his kitchen wall while he decides between beige and purple.  Ronnie lobbies hard for her favorites, while Paula nurtures you through the more difficult passages.

The site has lots of pictures of our old house- a lovely treat, after looking endlessly at the inside of the boat.  Some of the more civilized interiors are John and Jeff's place, which we also worked on.

  1. Nice to see Noe again, Joyce. Were all the "After" Noe photos taken when the house was staged for sale, or were some of them taken after it sold, with the current owners?

  2. The real estate guys took pix, and Paula took hers at the same time. They're all staged- you remember what our furniture looked like?!

  3. I remember some of the staged furniture, but not all, which is why I wasn't sure if all the "After" photos were taken when the house was staged for sale. But of course Paula wouldn't have asked the new owners to let her take photos after they moved in, which is a pity, because I'd love to see what the place looks like now.

  4. Hi Joyce, Loved going back to visit your house.....and I am sticking with my color theory for rooms. No matter that it might look bright when you are living in it, white walls are extremely dreary. Look at all your before shots and then see what a little color does to a room. Even a pale shade adds substance. So what color were you painting the boat interiors?

  6. Elle- while I was thinking about Paula and Ronnie (who both have other businesses, but live on the same block), I realized that you and Meg are IDEAL business partners. She can be the Expert, and you can make everyone happy.
