Day 1


From Portsmouth RI to Old Lyme CT
N 41 17.714  W 72 14.206
63 miles, 10 hours

We left Island Park at 6:00 am, passing the Abbey around 7:30.  Muz was at Mass- at least, we didn't notice any flashing headlights.  (We did see her car on Manor Drive, on her way to church with the McDonoughs.)
Elle and Doug caught up with us on the other side of Conanicut Island in a faster, more maneuverable boat.  They did not want to cruise Long Island Sound, though, so we said goodbye.

    I followed 41 17.714 W 72 14.206 and ended up in Kyrgyzstan! Congratulations on reporting from a news hotspot, or should that have beeen 41 17.714 W -72 14.206?!
