Lorenzo gets out of jail, not exactly free.
The police stopped our car on the road Monday and found his visa was overdue; then, instead of cautioning him to go get it renewed, they took him off to immigration jail.  Where he stayed for two days.  Very exciting outside, as we tried to find him, first, and then get him out.  A nice male bonding experience, he said, if a bit crowded.

  1. I for one am shocked. Why didnd't you just tell them you're way too busy a person to pay attention to minor details and tell them to get a life.

  2. They probably told him he could go after an hour but Lorenzo begged them to let him stay with the boys there a few days.

  4. Yipes Stripes! Scary! Your people are obviously laying down on the job if they don't have your papers up to date!
