We drove down Friday- with the cats- staying in a B&B on Prytania. Meanwhile Abby's downtown with Rose. They had some mysterious dying project going yesterday, plus I think they're building the entertainments for a friend's birthday party. Last night we had dinner together at Rio Mar, achieving my goal of eating someplace with NO fried oyster po-boys on the menu. Abby comes back to Jeanerette with us this afternoon. She can help us move, or pull the engine on the boat, or something.
At last! I hope you got to do some shopping at Whole Foods there! Why don't you post some more pix of Abby, your new place, and the fearless furry ones?

Glad to hear that work on the boat is continuing despite near-fatal accidents to the help. Also that it's clear you're still enjoying going to hell in the tropics. A pith helmet would be a nice touch.
